Meet Michele
Welcome from Michele
Thank you for visiting my little space in this big world, where I get to share my art journey with you . Part of that journey, is my little rescue dog Lacy who is my loyal companion. She loves being by my side while I paint beloved pieces for others. I give all the glory to my lord and savior Jesus Christ for making me a new creation and giving me the power, vision and ability to create beautiful pieces that touch peoples heart . Thank you for visiting my sacred space and I hope you are inspired by all the beauty you experience here.
Love,
Michele
Michele's Art Story
Art has become far more than paint on a canvas for Michele Berlin — it has become a journey of healing, resilience, faith, and purpose.
Born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, Michele spent more than 25 years as a hair designer, expressing creativity through her work and the relationships she built with others. But after a life-altering car accident left her with chronic pain, her life took an unexpected turn. What began as a daily form of therapy to help manage her pain slowly blossomed into a passion that would redefine her life as a self-taught artist.
Through painting, Michele discovered not only a creative outlet, but also a renewed sense of faith, hope, peace, and purpose during one of the most difficult seasons of her life.
A key part of that healing journey was her beloved rescue dog, Lacy — a sweet-spirited Blue Heeler mix who became her constant companion and faithful studio partner. Today, Lacy remains a gentle reminder of the healing power of unconditional love, perseverance, and the deep connections that carry us through life's challenges.
Inspired by her faith, nature, and the quiet beauty woven throughout everyday life, Michele creates heartfelt artwork designed to preserve memories, tell meaningful stories, and bring comfort and encouragement to others. From expressive portraits of loved ones and places that hold fond memories, her style captures the warmth, love and emotion.
Now an award-winning artist, Michele also uses her work to support causes close to her heart, including animals and humanitarian efforts. She has curated“ The Compassion Collection” of her studio studies to help support animals awaiting adoption in shelters. Through her art, she hopes to inspire compassion, encourage healing, and remind others that even through hardship, beauty and purpose can still emerge.
